Rizwan Kazmi (SRK) and Kajol Srivatsav play two childhood friends who were best of friends and then apart. Rizwan arrives from India to take part at 1994 Harvard Business School Business Plan Competition. Amidst his excitement of starting his business as a successful businessman he gets introduced to Kajol from the same well known Harvard Business School as his future wife. New York is Mr. Karan Johar's magical world of love, emotions, intrigue and emotions. Rizwan arrives during the New York summer in order to enjoy Manhattan before his business has already begun. The film now takes us to the times Rizwan and Kajol spend together romantically and intellectually experimenting the world to its fullest.
