1) Repair an open pin on the compressor inside the engine bay by perforating the plastic or replacing the blade.2) The ECU(Engine Control Unit) will be responsible for monitoring fuel/air mixture and other sensors for excess heat. If the ECU symptoms are not resolved, it can be replaced with a new fault free one. If the ECU is not replaced, the problem may be intermittent.3) A bad compressor will not run lean and overheat with excessive load. If the symptoms persist with excessive loads, the compressor must be replaced. A faulty compressor will run lean and overheat with no loads on.
1) Check the air filter for debris. If debris is found, remove and clean the strainer. If debris is not found, check the inlet at valve cover for cracks, caked debris, or pins missing from the air filter. Check the air filter to see if it is clogged. Check the compressor side of the air filter for dirt build up or prone to overheating. If any of these problems are found, disassemble the air filter and inspect the components for cracks or damage. If no cracks or damage is found, the problem may be intermittent. Replace the air filter. Install and reinstall the filter. d2c66b5586
